Moulin de Durtal
Our mill - a place with history and a future
Here, in the south of Burgundy, in the traditional cultural landscape of Bresse, we have carefully transformed a 200-year-old watermill into a special residential and commercial property with an eye for detail. The mill is located in a gentle hollow on a small watercourse - surrounded by hilly rural countryside and nestled in a peaceful, unspoilt environment.
We have further developed the historic half-timbered house, which has remained virtually unchanged for decades, with great respect for the existing substance. The rooms - two living areas that merge into one another, a spacious kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a spacious attic room - were preserved, adapted and functionally developed. The old mill is still fully intact and gives the house its unmistakable character.
Preserve instead of replace - designed with foresight
The mill has two covered terraces and a spacious threshing floor above the mill stream. We dismantled the original mill wheel and rebuilt it on the threshing floor - no longer functional, but as a visible sign of history.
The sustainable use of resources was important to us in all construction measures. The mill is connected to the electricity and water supply and the waste water is drained via its own septic tank - a solution that takes account of the rural context and is sustainable in the long term.
An investment that pays off - in every respect
With this project, we have consciously invested in a piece of regional architectural history - not as a nostalgic refuge, but as a property of stable value and character with development potential. The combination of historical substance, scenic quality and solid technical equipment makes the mill a place with a future for us - both culturally and economically.

La Grange à Outeaux
With La Grange à Outeaux, we are continuing a project that has already been built with great flair, commitment and foresight.
Katia Biloni and Vincent Gressot have shaped this place over the years - with an attentive eye for architecture, community and the natural rhythm of life.under their care, the former agricultural estate in the heart of the Bresse Bourguignonne has become a space for encounters, regeneration and exchange. We want to continue this basic idea - a place dedicated to the essentials - with great care.
A living place with a history and a future
The substance of the Grange à Outeaux - from the characteristic stone architecture to the light-filled rooms and the spacious activity hall - will continue to take centre stage. It was clear to us from the outset that we did not want to reinvent, but rather to continue: with respect for what already exists, with clarity in the design and with a view to sustainable use.
A key feature of the property is its accessibility: many of the rooms and facilities have already been designed to be wheelchair accessible. This inclusive approach - openness in the best sense of the word - also corresponds to our self-image and will remain a central component of further development.
